Job SummaryT Rowe Price is looking for a senior .Net developer. The key skillset for the role is experience with Data (data loading, data transformation, etc.), cloud (AWS or Azure), and some experience deploying Docker into cloud. The candidate should have a high level (9+ years of US based experience) and local to Baltimore will be given preference. Strong C# coding skills are required.
The interview process is 3 steps and the rate we have is $60/hr W2.
- 9+ years of US based experience
- Local to Baltimore preferred
- Strong C# coding skills
- Experience with Data (data loading, data transformation, etc.)
- Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
- Docker deployment experience in cloud
- Rate: $60/hr W2
- Design, develop, modify, adapt, and implement short‑ and long‑term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems, databases, and application infrastructure.
- Review & interpret system requirements and business processes; code, test, debug, and implement software solutions.
- Lead projects or work streams.
- Be accountable for your work and sometimes others, providing process & standards advice in your area of specialization.
- Work independently.
- Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Perform as a domain expert in one or more parts of the software lifecycle (e.g., coding, testing, deployment). Lead significant pieces of development within the lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development of standard methodologies within the group.
- Lead code reviews and actively participate in providing feedback on others' designs/code.
- Be accountable for technical debt in your own software.
- Lead a small project team, as required.
- Take control of complex problems and step through them in a rational way.
- Make tactical vs. strategic trade‑offs.
- Be flexible in your thinking; able to evolve a solution when additional information or ideas are presented.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
- Identify when junior engineers need help and provide it in a positive way that promotes confidence.
- Actively help team members or make suggestions to improve practices.
- Work directly with business partners.
- Make decisions that focus on current & future business priorities, together with fiscal responsibility.
- Articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
