They are searching for an Embedded Software Engineer to help build high-performance software at the edge and advance the next generation of OT innovation.

In this role, you’ll develop real-time embedded software for custom Linux-based platforms operating in demanding, mission‑critical environments. You’ll work across kernel layers, hardware interfaces, and low‑level data systems - collaborating with hardware, FPGA, and analytics specialists to deliver integrated solutions. This is a chance to build resilient, high‑throughput software that directly impacts transportation, national security, and critical infrastructure operations.

• Design, develop, and optimize real‑time embedded software for custom Linux‑based hardware
• Work on low‑level hardware interfaces, DMA, and high‑speed data transfer
• Build Linux kernel drivers and user‑space APIs for custom hardware
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, FPGA, analytics) to ship reliable products
• Profile and debug systems for low‑latency, high‑reliability operation
• Be part of a company that’s genuinely engineering‑first, not bureaucracy‑heavy

• Degree in CS, EE, CE, or related field
• 3+ years of embedded software or low‑level systems experience
• Strong in C/C++ or Rust (Rust a plus)
• Experience with embedded Linux
  , Yocto/Buildroot, and kernel or driver‑level development
• Skilled in debugging with GDB, JTAG, oscilloscopes
  , and similar tools
• Comfortable with Git
  , CI/CD, and scripting (Python/Bash)
• Familiarity with CAN, ARINC‑429, MIL‑STD‑1553
  , or related protocols
• Knowledge of DSP, real‑time processing
  , or hardware/software integration
• Must have US citizenship and security clearance.
