About the Role:

The Community Violence Intervention & Prevention Supervisor oversees a team of case managers, dedicated to reducing violence, supporting survivors, and fostering safer communities. This role combines leadership, program management, and community engagement to ensure effective delivery of intervention and prevention strategies. The Community Violence Intervention and Prevention Supervisor's primary focus is to provide programmatic supervision to the daily operations of the Program and support programmatic staff with providing support to assist clients to work towards reaching their goals.

Supervisor assists with protocol development, provides orientation, support, and resource linkage for families impacted by community violence. The PAAVE Program Supervisor assists in ongoing development of the program to adhere to best practices in the field, and to meet the needs of the children and families impacted by community violence. This position reports to the Community Program Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Program Leadership:
    Supervise daily operations of violence intervention and prevention programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and evidence-based practices.
  • Recruit, train and oversee programmatic interns and volunteers
  • Staff Supervision:
    Provide supervision for case managers, interns, and volunteers.
  • Case Oversight:
    Monitor client cases, ensuring timely follow-up, and connection to resources. Assisting case managers to achieve high quality of care for clients. Supervisor will also provide case support and carry a caseload.
  • Community Engagement:
    Build and maintain partnerships with local agencies, schools, law enforcement, and community leaders to coordinate violence prevention efforts. Attend and coordinate community events and programs.
  • Data & Reporting:
    Track program outcomes, prepare monthly reports, and ensure compliance with grant and policy requirements.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    Coordinate and attend regularly scheduled meetings. Plan and host quarterly partnership meetings. Coordinate with other departments, partners, and external stakeholders as it impacts community violence prevention and intervention.
  • Provide programmatic supervision of daily operations for services to ensure alignment with goals and evidence-informed practices.
  • Attend and participate in supervision, leadership meetings, and cross-department coordination.
  • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of program protocols and service workflows.
  • Assist direct staff with reducing harmful effects of secondary trauma and increasing wellness and resiliency.
  • Provide consultation and escalation support for high-risk or complex client cases.
  • Review case activity for quality assurance, client safety, and continuity of care.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies, schools, law enforcement, and violence prevention stakeholders.
  • Represent Center for Hope in citywide violence intervention networks, coalitions, and community meetings.
  • Coordinate outreach and engagement efforts to strengthen referral pathways for survivors and families.
  • Attend and support community events and prevention programming as assigned.
  • Track program outcomes and service delivery metrics to ensure program effectiveness and accountability.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports in accordance with grant and funder requirements.
  • Support audit readiness, monitoring activities, and corrective action processes as needed.
  • Partner with leadership to use data for program improvement and strategic planning.
  • Plan and host quarterly partnership meetings to strengthen collaboration and shared problem solving.
