Field Technician

As an industry leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor since 1985, Enviro Vantage, Inc is looking to add to our incredible team. Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, Enviro Vantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition.

• Execute specific demolition/abatement tasks as instructed
• Clean and prepare project sites
• Work off ladders, lifts or scaffolding and with mechanical equipment as needed
• Operate hand tools and power tools
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Focused on SAFETY at all times

• Minimum of 1 year construction experience OR technical & trade school, community college coursework in construction, demolition, or environmental services required
• OSHA 10 or higher construction training preferred;
  If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
• Experience with construction hand tools required
• Experience working outside during all seasons and in all-weather required
• Able to pass pre-employment post-offer physical
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, hardworking and motivated
• Strong team player with positive attitude

• Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job function
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary
• Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders
• Regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

• Compensation Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hour
• Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

• Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year
• Sick Time: 56 hours per year
