WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at River’s Gate/Carrollwood in Middle River, MD. This role is essential to maintaining the community’s quality, ensuring the property’s upkeep, and delivering excellent service to our residents.

Position Overview:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Previous residential maintenance experience and an active HVAC certification is preferred.

Starting at $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience), plus bonus and allowance opportunities

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation

• Perform electrical system repairs and maintenance
• Hang, prep, and sand drywall
• Repair and maintain appliances
• Complete plumbing repairs
• Paint apartments and common areas as needed
• Maintain property cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal tasks
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 85 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Availability for on-call emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• HVAC certification a plus
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred
