This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Security Systems Installer located out of the Baltimore office and serving the Delmarva region. The responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining various security systems such as access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems. Other tasks involve troubleshooting existing hardware or software issues, conducting routine maintenance checks, and collaborating with other technicians or staff to ensure systems operate efficiently.
Must be able to pull cabling and understand how to structure and secure cabling. Must be able to work at high platforms and ladders as well as multiple different environments all while maintaining safety protocols and providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills, along with a solid understanding of hardware and software configurations- electronic hardware installation; strikes, Magnetic locks, etc.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, cabling, and network infrastructure
- Ability to operate power tools and other installation‑related equipment safely
- Excellent customer service skills with effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and professional installation standards
- Experience with brands such as Avigilon, Verkada, Keyscan, Butterfly, Aiphone is a plus
- Technical certification or a related diploma is preferred
- Driver’s license and ability to travel within Maryland and surrounding states
