Talascend is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Baltimore , Maryland
.

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Weekends as needed and on call 24/7

• Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance
• Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests
• Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks
• Support on-call or emergency response situations
• Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls
• Comply with all safety procedures
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Other projects and tasks to be assigned

• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable
• 3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive
• Strong customer service skills
