Location:

Onsite at Komatsu Company Stores East locations serving NJ, NY, PA, MD, and DE region.

• Travel to customer sites and operate/maintain a company vehicle in compliance with company and DOT policies
• Provide advanced diagnostic and repair work on heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.)
• Repair, tear down, rebuild, or replace engines and other major components
• Apply advanced knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems
• Use computer skills and industry software; document repair details in clear, accurate service notes for assigned work orders
• Contribute to writing customer quotes and deliver best-in-class customer service
• Mentor less tenured mechanics in branch operations
• Operate heavy equipment as part of service activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 5+ years of experience in the heavy equipment repair industry
• Ability to travel and operate a company vehicle in compliance with policies
• Advanced diagnostic and repair experience with heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.)
• Ability to repair, tear down, rebuild, or replace engines and major components
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic systems
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft products and industry software
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to convey repair details in clear service notes and work orders
• Experience in writing customer quotes and delivering customer service
• Mentoring experience for less tenured mechanics
• Operation of heavy equipment
• Other duties as assigned

• Physically demanding work in industrial environments

• Working at heights; carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, bending, crouching
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
• Hand/eye and motor coordination
• Overtime as needed
