Expected salary range of $28.02 to $34.25, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position The Pre-Journeyman - Plumbing Service technician performs a wide range of plumbing services for residential customers and promotes the sale of all other services offered by our Company to customers. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Installs and modifies existing plumbing equipment according to installation instructions, supervisor instructions and all applicable county or city codes.
Performs minimal service on steam boilers with supervision.
Performs a wide range of plumbing services to include repair or replacement of faucets, toilets, domestic water lines and drain lines.
Modifies and fabricates pipe fittings as needed per installation.
Identifies electrical, plumbing and safety problems that apply to the installation and takes necessary corrective action.
Performs clerical duties necessary to complete requests for service.
Minimum Qualifications Apprentice License holder for 4 years
Completed 7,500 hours of training under control and direction of a licensed master plumber
Advanced knowledge of the tools and materials related to the plumbing service field
Must possess advanced ability to read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
Advanced ability in the usage of sewer cleaning machines
Advanced skills in customer relations
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Advanced skills in sales with the ability to recommend and promote all services offered by the company
Ability to work weekends and overtime
Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license
