The ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC I performs maintenance, installation and repair work on electrical equipment, systems and components. This work is performed under general supervision and using the tools and techniques of electrical technology.

Hours:
Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Weekend work required

Location:
Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program which is approved/accepted by local or state government.
• Journeyman Electrician Certificate
• 4 years related work experience as obtained in an apprenticeship program under the supervision of a Master Electrician

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

:

• Knowledge of electrical techniques, codes, procedures and materials.
• Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.
• Performs work within reasonable lengths of time as measured against trade, industry or engineered standards.

Salary Range:
Minimum $32.15/hour - Maximum $ 37.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
