Mason Helper - Historic Restoration

Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI), a historic restoration construction company, is seeking a Mason Helper to work throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area.
This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities

• Build scaffolds and prep work areas with materials, ensuring readiness for skilled masons.
• Stock blocks and bricks to keep masons supplied and productive.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Mix mortar by hand or with power mixers to provide proper consistency for masonry work.
• Assist masons with various tasks to maximize productivity and ensure high-quality results.
• Follow all safety protocols while working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Dependable and reliable.
• Perform physically demanding activities, including lifting, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
• Comfortable working at heights on scaffolds up to 70 feet.
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous masonry experience required.
• Strong attention to safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
