We are currently seeking Construction Technicians / Laborers with valid CDL licenses to join the team in Baltimore, MD
. As a Construction Technician / Laborer, you will be responsible for installing cured‑in‑place pipe (CIPP) for municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversight while still adhering to detailed instructions.

We are offering a limited‑time sign‑on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license
; reduced bonuses are also available for hires without a current CDL. New employees meeting the criteria will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting pay is hourly, and the average Construction Technician can expect to earn up to $75,000 per year (total includes hourly rate, overtime, per diem, and any adjusted prevailing rate on government projects). 100% paid on‑the‑job training is provided.

• Repair various types of sewer lines using a specific product and process
• Ensure pull‑in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D‑rings, chains, and attachment to the pulling cable
• Install the prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate equipment
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment operates correctly
• Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
• Learn and train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor‑trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Perform set‑up and clean‑up tasks at the job site or shop

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience as a construction laborer and/or installation technician (highly preferred)
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and align with Insituform’s motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required)
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery‑powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
