Field Service Technician

Position: FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
ABERDEEN, ELKTON, NORTHERN BALTIMORE
-MARYLAND

Werres Corporation INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT MECHANIC will work at customer sites in a shop environment. Responsible for troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, installations, and performing unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on forklift/equipment.

Training:

Training provided to become a Raymond Certified Technician from Basic Certified, Level 1, Level 2, and Master Certified.

Skills, personal characteristics:

• Mechanical / electrical aptitude
• Effectively use volt, ohm and multimeters, operate personal hand tools, grinders, pressers, forklift, hoists, overhead cranes
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals
• Customer focused, professional communication skills.
• Work independently and as a team member
• Sense of urgency with commitment to achieving success
• Working knowledge of personal computers, familiarity with cellphone, internet and email functions. Must be able to enter data accurately.
• Good driving record

Responsibilities:

• Analyze breakdowns of customer equipment and recommend action to correct
• Complete major repairs and overhaul industrial forklift equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance on forklift / industrial equipment
• Provide superior customer service
