** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct entry screening at designated checkpoints, including monitoring walk-through screening equipment, performing bag and package inspections, and verifying credentials per site policy.

+ Control access to restricted areas by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel according to post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have a minimum of 2+ years of security experience.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
