As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol in Baltimore, MD
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Food/Beverage. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Job Schedule:
Thursday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Friday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a food and beverage location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, loading docks, and perimeter points to help deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and help manage visitor, vendor, and contractor entry in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with evacuations and/or shelter‑in‑place directions, and preserving scene integrity until relieved.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support shift turnover with clear briefings.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience OR a college degree.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Must have 5+ years of security experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
