About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing, regionally recognized environmental services company is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to join its expanding team. This organization provides essential operational and sustainability solutions to commercial clients and is known for service excellence, innovation, and strong customer partnerships.
This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives in a field-based environment, enjoys hunting for new business, and takes ownership of building long-term client relationships. You will manage an assigned territory, grow existing accounts, and develop new revenue streams within your market.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach
- Develop and execute territory growth plans
Account Management
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers
- Address service issues and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Consultative Selling
- Conduct on-site evaluations to assess client needs
- Design and present tailored service solutions
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation
- Manage sales pipeline and forecast revenue
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution
- Advocate internally on behalf of clients
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of outside sales experience (industrial, service-based, or B2B environments preferred)
- This role is based in Baltimore, Maryland. Requiring B2B outreach in the Baltimore area.
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and territory planning abilities
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Industry experience in environmental, industrial, or route-based services is a plus, but not required.
