Transportation Sales Executive – Baltimore, MD (Central Maryland)

Position Summary:

The Transportation Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business development and revenue growth within the region. This role focuses on securing volume LTL and/or TL freight opportunities while leveraging the company’s full suite of logistics capabilities to create comprehensive customer solutions.

This is a high-impact, growth-oriented position offering strong earning potential and long-term career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting LTL and TL freight opportunities
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and supply chain decision-makers
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across warehousing, brokerage, consolidation, and fulfillment services
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain CRM pipeline activity and meet or exceed revenue targets
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of current or recent experience selling volume LTL and/or TL transportation services
  • Proven track record of generating new revenue in this market
  • Established relationships with regional shippers preferred
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to sell value-added logistics solutions beyond core transportation
