Sales Development Representative

Chesapeake Search Partners has partnered with a commercial services organization that is in need of a Sales Development Representative to join their growing team. The SDR will play a critical role in generating and managing leads while maintaining and growing a healthy sales pipeline.

• Identify and target potential leads through outbound outreach (phone calls, emails, social media, etc.).
• Research and qualify new business opportunities and potential clients based on fit, need, and buying signals.
• Maintain a high level of outbound activity to meet and exceed lead generation goals.
• Own the full sales pipeline from initial lead contact to handoff to Account Executives.
• Accurately track and update lead status, pipeline stages, and communication in CRM.
• Continuously monitor pipeline health to ensure proper forecasting and the timely movement of qualified leads through the sales process.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline activity to sales management and executives.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar sales role (preferably with pipeline management experience).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence decision‑makers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and pipeline stages simultaneously.
• Experience using CRM software (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.) to manage sales activities and pipeline.
