Reports To:
Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Base range for this position is $125K-$200K, Variable: $125K-$200K; OTE $250K-$400K.
About The Role
Airtower Networks is seeking senior sales leaders with both telecom expertise and deep vertical market experience to join our growing team as Local Area Directors (LADs). In this highly strategic role, you will own all building stock opportunities in your metro—including both new construction and existing assets—while leveraging your industry background and vertical knowledge (e.g., CRE, healthcare, multifamily, industrial, higher education, or hospitality) to build credibility and drive results.
This is not a transactional role. The LAD is the face of Airtower in their metro, combining solution selling skills, financial acumen, and the ability to sell confidently within a channel- and ecosystem-driven environment. You’ll bring proven experience working with integrators, carriers, technology partners, and influencers, and you know how to leverage those relationships to accelerate sales cycles. Reporting directly to the CRO, you’ll have executive visibility, strategic ownership, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

We design, build, and manage cellular DAS, public safety DAS, and managed Wi-Fi solutions for some of the nation’s most recognized real estate owners, healthcare systems, universities, and enterprises. Our Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) model helps clients convert Cap Ex into predictable OpEx while delivering reliable, scalable wireless coverage for tenants, staff, and visitors.
What You’ll Do
- Generate pipeline, negotiate, and close complex deals with building owners, developers, property managers, and CIOs.
- Engineer NaaS and buyback-based financial models that demonstrate clear ROI and predictable ARR.
- Serve as the local vertical expert, aligning to industries that define your metro (e.g., CRE and healthcare in Atlanta, multifamily in Dallas, higher education in Boston, industrial in Houston).
- Leverage your network of industry contacts, ecosystem partners, and influencers to open doors, co-sell, and expand Airtower’s reach.
- Sell effectively with and through system integrators, carriers, and referral partners, while maintaining direct ownership of revenue outcomes.
- Consistently achieve and exceed ARR growth targets.
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of sales leadership in telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, or DAS.
- Proven ability to drive revenue in vertical industries with building stock density, leveraging local expertise and networks.
- Strong background in solution selling with executive decision makers, including financial modeling and ROI/TCO/IRR business cases.
- Demonstrated success selling within an ecosystem-driven model, including integrators, channel partners, and referral networks.
- Experience structuring Cap Ex-to-OpEx models and building ARR-based books of business.
- MBA preferred but not required.
- Must be located in one of the following areas:
Atlanta, Washington DC, Boston, Central Florida, South Florida, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Charlotte/Raleigh, or Houston.
