RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the Vice President by anticipating needs, coordinating client deliverables, and assisting with implementation of new coverage lines, products, and services
* Handle daily client and carrier/vendor inquiries; review proposals, assist with pricing negotiations, and support ongoing client relationships
* Deliver high-quality client service by responding to inquiries, resolving benefit issues, and ensuring timely, professional communication
* Coordinate renewals and new business implementations, including gathering information, reviewing quotes, preparing applications, and verifying accuracy of contracts and booklets
* Maintain organized electronic records, including renewal paperwork and commission schedules, following naming conventions and documentation protocols
* Prepare materials and documentation for client meetings (renewal proposals, coverage summaries, financials, open enrollment packets, etc.)
* Conduct open enrollment and employee education meetings as needed
* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations; update SBCs and maintain active Life & Health License through CE credits
* Collaborate with internal teams to produce client-facing materials and ensure smooth service delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
* Maryland Life & Health License required
* Previous work in the employee benefits industry required
* At least five years of experience in the industry, preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $80K to $125K per year.
