Brace yourself for an exhilarating journey where you’ll own the entire customer engagement spectrum, from masterfully managing demand schedules to showcasing your prowess in quote management and becoming the epitome of product knowledge providing technology solutions from our extensive line card.

What you’ll be working on
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers while meeting and surpassing assigned sales goals
  • Visiting existing customers and prospecting for new clients within the following markets:
    Aerospace and Defense, Industrial, Medical, Energy, Transportation, and Electronic Manufacturing Services segments. Specifically targeting the greater Baltimore area, including Virginia.
  • Collaborating with local and regional suppliers to establish a strategic alliance, aiming to establish the company as the leading distributor of preference. Participates in suppliers' training sessions to effectively share product knowledge with the engineering community in the assigned account base.
  • Dedicated to guaranteeing customer satisfaction through effective supply chain management and providing value‑added services.
  • Seeking out new opportunities, reactivating dormant accounts, and connecting with current and potential customers to generate sales revenue
  • Setting objectives with local management and determining appropriate customer calls to be made
  • Completion of pre‑call preparation and qualifying for potential customers
  • Working collaboratively with branch management and inside sales teams on customer visits
We’re looking for someone with
  • 3+ years of sales experience (bonus points if you’ve worked in the electronics distribution industry)
  • Desire to delight customers - you anticipate customer needs and exceed expectations
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills via B2B engagements and using Virtual platforms such as Microsoft TEAMS
  • Strong technical aptitude in the field of electronic components
  • University degree an asset, or equivalent work experience
  • Results‑oriented work ethic and ability to perform under pressure
It’d be great if you have
  • Negotiation skills - you have the ability to persuade and influence
  • English written and spoken
  • Awesome Excel skills - you are familiar with v‑lookups and pivot tables
