Account Manager
Capital Electric is part of the Sonepar group, the world’s #1 electrical distributor. We offer electrical products and services to contractors across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
We’re looking for an Account Manager to drive sales of our product line, maintain solid customer relationships, and lead our sales department to grow income and market share.
Location:
Baltimore, MD | Salary: $66,000 - $88,000 annually
- Calling on commercial, government and institutional customers as well as driving lighting projects
- Manage the sales of products and services to account base
- Develop new customer relationships
- Regular end user joint calls with suppliers
- Develop sales leads
- Develop customer pricing strategy that enhances profitability
- Quote prices and credit terms
- Coordinate customer training
- Investigate and resolve customer issues
- Attend trade shows and meetings
- Attend training as required by Capital Electric
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Other duties as required
- Must have experience with electrical/lighting supplies
- Customer service background
- 2-5 years of sales experience
