Assistant Manager

We’re seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead the most energetic store in the mall. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and team development. Think of yourself as a combination of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle any challenge while driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.

• Support your Store Manager in achieving sales goals and targets.
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate, collaborative team.
• Create excitement and engagement through promotion of new products, social media, and store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to ensure the store operates smoothly, balancing operational tasks, delegation, and customer service.
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll, and staff schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales reports to inform strategic decisions.
• Merchandise the store effectively, launching promotions on time and leveraging planograms.
• Develop your team of high-performing, customer-focused associates in partnership with the Store Manager.

• 1-2 years of retail management experience; passion for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Proven success in team leadership, with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
• High school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus.
• Ability to adapt quickly and handle the fast-paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
