Retail Associate; Union Station DC

CHIBOO Bakery is looking to grow our retail and farmers market team in UNION STATION, DC. We are a small but agile team, providing thousands of handcrafted gourmet French macarons each month for our small retail shop, catering orders and pop-up events around the DMV. We pride ourselves in using premium ingredients, highlighting local sources from our farmer friends, and making unique flavors sustainably.

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and promote our products to customers passionately
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to follow instructions closely and consistently, and to manage your time effectively
• Highly developed communication skills
• DC CERTIFIED FOOD PROTECTION MANAGER PREFERRED

• This position assists in set-up/breakdown, sales/distribution of products, and record keeping for our retail store and farmers markets or pop-up events
• Maintain knowledge of all goods sold, such that you can thoughtfully discuss sourcing, ingredients, and recommendations with guests
• Uphold and practice exceptional food safety and sanitation
• Site set-up and breakdown (For farmers market, pop-ups and festivals)
