Banquet Cook is responsible for the flawless preparation and presentation of the menu created by the Executive Chef and for making sure our guests receive an unparalleled dining experience.
Responsibilities- Prepare food consistent with recipe cards.
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs.
- Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas.
- Operate and properly clean cooking and kitchen equipment and supplies.
You have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s experience as a prep line/cook. Most importantly, you’re someone who is capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high‑pressure situations.
Work Environment & ScheduleYou’ll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and working on slippery floors. You must also be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
