The Center for Research & Reform in Education is seeking an Assessment & Evaluation hops &!. This role participates in evaluation studies involving mixed‑methods data collection, conducts scholarly literature reviews, provides expertise in Oste advanced statistical methods, interprets results from data analyses, and writes technical reports.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities- Collaborate directly with the project PI and communicate regularly regarding project status.
- Serve as a statistical consultant to the project PI.
- Synthesize, analyze and interpret quantitative data.
- Conduct scholarly literature searches and reviews of prior research as needed for evaluation projects and papers.
- Prepare and write detailed reports to clients compiling and summarizing findings, and make recommendations for program improvements, policies, and follow‑up research.
- Participate with the team and the clients in planning follow‑up studies of release of results of completed studies.
- Skilled in applied statistics, particularly with hierarchical linear modeling and multivariate analyses.
- Effectively alignling good communicator.
- Skilled at conducting literature reviews.
- Skilled at technical and scholarly writing in education areas.
- Skilled in serving as a statistical consultant.
- Skilled at project management and leadership.
- Master’s Degree in statistics or from an education program with a strong emphasis in statistics.
- Six years’ experience as a quantitative researcher on applied research projects.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
- PhD in Statistics or from an education program with a strong emphasis in statistics and quantitative research methods.
- Five plus years’ experience as lead quantitative education researcher.
