Research Scientist (Post Doc Research Fellow)
Perform original research at the intersection of AI/ML and cybersecurity, and disseminate the findings through publications in leading conferences and top‑tier journals. Full‑time (40hrs/week).
Job PurposeDevelop, design, and evaluate integration of robust AI/ML and game theory for cybersecurity and resiliency in emerging networked systems such as cyber‑physical systems, IoT, and other connected civilian and military applications.
Responsibilities- Conduct fundamental and experimental research, data collection, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Develop high‑impact research articles/manuscripts for publication in selected conferences and journals.
- Coordinate and ensure development of pertinent reports and their timely delivery.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator, including research training and mentoring.
- Ph.D. degree with research experience demonstrated through publications or patents in cybersecurity, AI, and machine learning for autonomous systems.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Programming experience and fluency in one or more programming languages/ML tools such as Python, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, MATLAB.
- Computing experience and knowledge, including software packages such as LaTeX, word processing, database applications, and spreadsheet.
- Competence in oral and written English, ability to articulate concisely.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team‑oriented interdisciplinary environment.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
