Belvedere Veterinary Center is a full-service animal hospital located in Baltimore, MD just south of Towson, MD. We believe that pets enhance our lives- we are here to do the same for them. The clinic is just south of Towson, Maryland. The surrounding area is filled with opportunities for outdoor recreation and quickly becoming an entertainment and cultural hub for the East coast. We have the awesome Maryland Zoo (where we have hosted several team events!) and the National Aquarium. Baltimore loves its Orioles (baseball) and Ravens (football). We are also home to several world-renowned colleges and universities.

Role DescriptionWe are seeking responsible and compassionate doctors to join our team as Full or Part time Veterinarian. The successful candidate will perform clinical duties like exams, diagnosis, treatment, and management of our patients' health over time. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and be committed to providing excellent client education. We are part of this community. We work as a team- you will never be alone is a different kind of clinic.
We support our team and our clients while avoiding burnout. We want each doctor to be the best version of themselves that they can be! If you have special interests, we support that! If you don't want to see the inside of an abdomen, we aren't going to make you do ExLaps! We have an incredible support staff that are appropriately leveraged and allow our doctors to do doctor stuff!
- Obviously you need to be able to practice - Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an AVMA accredited institution and a valid MD state veterinary license or the ability to get one.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills - we have all the normal toys in house and our clients want to know the why - they don’t just want meds to patch a problem.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting - we have doctor meetings once a month and doctor dinners quarterly during which we can develop, direct and make sure we are all on board with the hospital's direction. We can also frequently be found huddling up to discuss cases or treatment options.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills - we try to maintain a highly informed and educated group of clients.
