• Our team: Doc-Side was opened by Dr. Deborah Tierney and Dr. Irvin Herling in 1999 and grew to be a 4 doctor team! Dr. Tierney excels in treating complicated dental cases and Dr. Herling has a wealth of experience in soft tissue surgery and laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Coughlin has been supporting Doc-Side clients for over a decade and enjoys treating exotics in addition to our small animal patients, and Dr.
  
  Vaughan is the newest addition to our team.

• Requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, or equivalent; active licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Maryland; experience in companion animal medicine
