As part of the renowned Med Star Heart & Vascular Institute
, Med Star Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team
. Our institute is recognized regionally and nationally for advancing cardiovascular care through groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art technology, and a steadfast focus on improving patient outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care, focusing on pre- and post-operative office based management.
- Collaborate with an expert team of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in cardiac surgery practices.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Day shift - 8 hour shifts
- Outpatient-focused role with Inpatient Involvement
- No weekends, holidays, or call associated
- Previous experience in cardiac surgery or a surgical/acute care setting strongly preferred
- Committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and advancing cardiovascular care
