American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position requiring 2+ years of PACU experience, Epic proficiency, and an active MD or compact RN license.

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• On-call requirements:
  Monday–Friday, 3–4 overnight calls (11 PM–7 AM) per 6-week schedule
• Weekend on-call: 2–12 hour call shifts (day or night) per 6-week schedule
• Holiday on-call: 1 twelve-hour holiday call required
• No float requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active MD or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience, including Phase II recovery
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed facility) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care including Phase II recovery to surgical patients
