As part of the renowned Med Star Heart & Vascular Institute, Med Star Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team. Our institute is recognized regionally and nationally for advancing cardiovascular care through groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art technology, and a steadfast focus on improving patient outcomes.

In this role, you will:

* Provide comprehensive outpatient care, focusing on pre- and post-operative office based management.

* Collaborate with an expert team of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in cardiac surgery practices.

Position Details:

* Full-time, 40 hours per week

* Day shift - 8 hour shifts

* Outpatient-focused role with Inpatient Involvement

* No weekends, holidays, or call associated

Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience in cardiac surgery or a surgical/acute care setting strongly preferred

* Committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and advancing cardiovascular care
