Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Wound​/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night shift position on the Burn/Wound Med/Surg Unit, requiring BLS certification and strong med-surg wound care skills.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Burn/Wound Med/Surg Unit,

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• Assignment includes every other weekend shifts,

• Holiday coverage required as needed,

• Rare floating to other med-surg floors may be required,

• Uses Epic for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

• Minimum of 2 years recent med-surg nursing experience required,

• Comfortable managing acute and chronic wounds, burns, and related care,

• Experience with Epic EMR required,

• Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required,

Additional Information

• Care for patients with a variety of complex wounds and burns,

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team,

• Holiday shifts scheduled as needed by the unit,
