Physician Assistant-Neuroscience

Location: Sinai Hospital
Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Shifts

Sinai Hospital seeks a dedicated Physician Assistant for its Neurosurgery and Neurology teams. The PA will provide clinical care, assist with neurocritical procedures, and support in‑patient and emergency department patients.

• Provide clinical care in Neurosurgery and Neurology departments, including in‑patient and ED needs.
• Assist with neurocritical care procedures (craniotomies, spinal surgeries, ICP monitoring, CSF drainage).
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies; maintain documentation compliance for NCCPA and state licensure.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for patient management.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow‑up.
• Engage in continuous education and training opportunities.

• Baclofen pumps for spasticity management
• Craniotomy/craniectomy and spinal surgeries (discectomy, laminectomy, fusions)
• Deep brain stimulation and spinal cord stimulation
• Endovascular cerebral aneurysm treatment and interventional neuroradiology
• Stroke interventions (chemical and mechanical)
• Ventriculoperitoneal shunt surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery
• Intraoperative monitoring and diagnostic ICP monitoring

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience: Preferred experience in interventional neurology or neurocritical care.
