About the Position
Specialty: RN – Pediatric Step Down Unit (Peds Step Down)
Experience: 1+ year of recent pediatric intermediate/step-down or PICU experience
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS and PALS – AHA
Must-Have: Pediatric monitoring and ventilator management skills

Description: The Pediatric Step Down RN provides care to pediatric patients who require close monitoring and interventions beyond the general pediatric floor but not as intensive as PICU. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs and equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

• BLS
• PALS
