Registered Nurse - Float HICU/BHU/LTC Vent Unit Location

Maryland

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend required.

The Registered Nurse will float between the HICU, BHU, and Burk 2 units, providing care for a wide variety of complex medical patients. The HICU is a 40-bed unit requiring close monitoring and frequent interventions for similarly stable yet critically ill patients. The BHU (Brain Health Unit) focuses on patients with medical and neurological disorders, while Burk 2 is dedicated to those needing long-term care with chronic respiratory issues requiring ventilator support.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple units.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize specialty equipment and devices for patient care.
• Implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms and develop patient care plans.

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
