Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend required.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will float between the HICU, BHU, and Burk 2 units, providing care for a wide variety of complex medical patients. The HICU is a 40-bed unit requiring close monitoring and frequent interventions for similarly stable yet critically ill patients. The BHU (Brain Health Unit) focuses on patients with medical and neurological disorders, while Burk 2 is dedicated to those needing long-term care with chronic respiratory issues requiring ventilator support.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple units.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Utilize specialty equipment and devices for patient care.
- Implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms and develop patient care plans.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
