Experienced Registered Nurse RN CVICU Critical Care
Location: Med Star Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, MD
Position Overview: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing in a high-acuity environment caring for patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures such as open-heart surgeries, catheter-based valve replacements, vascular interventions, and thoracic surgeries. You will assess patient condition, develop individualized care plans, collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, and participate in team rounds to maintain a coordinated, patient-centered approach.
- Assess evolving patient conditions and identify acute and potential health concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Deliver and coordinate interventions or coordinate care with other nurses on the team.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds (three times daily).

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support certification required (AHA or American Red Cross).
Salary Range USD $35.00 - $56.91 per hour.
