RN - PCU

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Nurse to join our 48-bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The unit receives primarily patients from the Emergency Department, cath lab, and other inpatient units. The environment is fast-paced with a high turnover of patients.

• Provide care for patients on cardiac drips such as amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, nitro, lasix, and insulin.
• Perform timely patient discharges, hourly rounding, and bedside shift report.
• Collaborate with PCAs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Comfortably manage patients post-cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a PCU/Telemetry unit.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must have experience with post-cardiac catheterization care.
• Current Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
