Independent Dialysis Foundation Inc. (IDF) is an over 45‑year‑old Maryland non‑profit dialysis company focused on the delivery of quality patient care and career satisfaction for our clinicians. Our administrators are Dialysis RNs. Over a third of our talented staff have been with IDF for an average of 20 years. Dialysis experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.

Job Overview

Full‑time RN position available at our Parkview Center located in downtown Baltimore. Parkview Center is a 36‑station dialysis clinic with a cohesive team and great hours. The clinic is open Monday through Saturday. Full‑time staff are scheduled 36–40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hemodialysis treatments to renal failure patients in accordance with IDF policies and procedures and all regulatory agencies.
  • Routinely perform nursing tasks as ordered by the physician and/or assigned by the Charge RN.
  • Administer patient care in a safe, confidential, and respectful manner.
  • Apply interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Assist fellow members of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Accountable for all delegated nursing care activities, assessments, interventions, and for ongoing evaluation of the patient’s response to the nursing plan of care.
  • Perform and document patient observations and data collections accurately, timely, and legibly in the patient’s electronic medical record.
  • Respond appropriately to visual and audible alarms of the dialysis machine and other ancillary equipment.
Qualifications

Dialysis experience is a plus; we will train the right candidate. New graduates are welcome.
