This is for a part time and full-time 2:30pm-3:00am or 6:30pm-7:00am shift RN position in the Emergency Department at Med Star Franklin Square.

Unit Highlights

Welcome to Med Star Franklin Square, a Magnet designated hospital. Med Star Franklin Square Emergency Department is a 62 bed department, with 18 flex beds, and a 9 bed Stroke Response Unit. Med Star Franklin Square is also a STEMI receiving and A Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Emergency Department see's approximately 70,000 patients a year and serves a diverse patient population.

1-year acute care experience preferred. Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and have a Maryland or compact state nursing license.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

* ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.

* Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.

* Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of

USD $35.00 - USD $56.91 /Hr.
