The Weinberg ICU (WICU) is a fast‑paced, 20‑bed Surgical ICU at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Our diverse patient population receives a wide range of complex surgeries, including surgical ENT, GI surgery, trauma, orthopedic/neuro‑spine procedures, and general surgery. This variety offers nurses an exceptional opportunity to broaden their clinical expertise and build confidence in caring for critically ill patients with highly complex needs.

The team is composed of a multidisciplinary group of professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Patient Care Technicians, Support Staff, Respiratory Therapists, and Pharmacists. Together, they collaborate to deliver patient‑ and family‑centered care of the highest quality. The WICU is proud to be recognized for its culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and excellence. • Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program required. BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year of hire and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.

• BLS CPR certification required.
• Acute care RN work experience required.

Salary Range:
Minimum 38.49/hour – Maximum 59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
