Surgical Services Nurse - Day Shift Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x10-Hour Day Shift (07:00 - 19:30) with a minimum of 1 weekend a month.

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Services Nurse with a strong background in surgical procedures and patient care. This position requires the ability to handle a variety of surgical cases and maintain high standards of care.

• Manage and assist in surgical procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre- and post-operation.
• Ensure patient safety and implement infection control protocols.
• Administer medical treatments and medication as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and provide support during operations.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.

• Minimum of 2 years of Charge Nurse experience.
• Preferred experience in Community Hospitals and Trauma Level I & II.
• Certification in BLS and CNOR required.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Must have an active MD or Compact License at the time of submission.
• References from recent employers: 1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN.
