These positions require a minimum of 1 year of med surg telemetry experience as we float all float pool nurses to all the Med Surg units and any of the following core units (IMC, Telemetry, ICU, ED) where float nurses have prior work experience.

• Minimum of five 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule; 1 full weekend per six-week schedule, 1 holiday per year, 1 hard to fill shift per year
• Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing enrollment required within 6 months of start date and completion within 3 years
• 1-2 years RN experience required. 1 year of medical surgical telemetry RN experience required
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment Upon Hire required.
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation by completion of introductory period required. ACLS strongly preferred

• Candidates cannot frontload or backload their requirements, meaning shifts must be spread out throughout the 6-week schedule instead of knocking them all out in the first week or so and not working again until the next 6 weeks.
• For call outs on scheduled weekend shifts, they have to be made up within the 6-week period.
