The Opportunity
The Project Manager/Mobility Coach is responsible for overseeing CFUF's Clean Corps transitional employment model while providing direct mobility coaching to program participants. This role blends project management, workforce development, and participant coaching to ensure successful program implementation and long-term employment outcomes. The Project Manager/Mobility Coach works closely with internal CFUF team members and external partners to ensure compliance with grant requirements, achievement of performance metrics, and high-quality service delivery.
Through individualized mobility coaching, this role empowers transitional employees with the tools, guidance, and support needed to achieve sustainable life and employment outcomes.
Funding for this position is authorized through June 2026. Accordingly, this is a temporary position, and employment is expected to end upon the expiration of available funding.
This position's broader responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of the Clean Corps project, including program operations, timelines, and compliance with grant requirements
- Coordinating weekly meetings with the lead agency and key stakeholders
- Managing program budgets, monitoring staff timesheets, and reconciling discrepancies
- Conducting regular site visits to assess staff performance and program quality
- Providing mobility coaching focused on career development, professional growth, and employment readiness
- Collaborating with CFUF team members to address participant barriers and promote long-term employment success
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clean Corps transitional employment model, including project coordination, budget tracking, and staff timesheet management.
- Coordinate closely with the lead agency to ensure alignment with program goals and proactively address challenges or discrepancies.
- Conduct periodic field and site visits to monitor staff performance, assess service delivery, and ensure compliance with program and funder standards.
- Develop and support staff engagement strategies that foster professional growth and promote transition into full-time employment.
- Provide ongoing one-on-one mobility coaching to transitional staff, focusing on career advancement, workplace navigation, and professional behavior.
- Partner with the Supportive Services Manager and Employment Specialist to identify and address barriers to participant success.
- Coordinate with employment specialists to support successful placement of program participants into full-time employment upon program completion.
- Support participants in building essential soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Collect, analyze, and report program data to evaluate outcomes and ensure achievement of performance metrics and grant requirements.
- Prepare and submit timely program reports to funders, documenting outcomes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, case notes, and documentation within the CFUF database.
- Engage with key partners, including Bon Secours and community-based organizations, to ensure strong collaboration and access to supportive services.
- Actively participate in CFUF team meetings, supervision sessions, and community outreach efforts to strengthen program retention and completion rates.
