Position: Quality Technician I

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician I to join our manufacturing team in Baltimore, MD. This role is responsible for conducting inspections and testing throughout the production process to ensure all products meet company and quality standards.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on quality experience in a manufacturing environment (non-pharmaceutical/non-medical) and be comfortable working on the shop floor in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
  • Conduct load performance and compliance testing per published specifications.
  • Ensure all test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Perform daily quality audits on the production floor.
  • Assist with qualification testing for new or revised products.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date certified testing reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
  • Visit job sites (as assigned) to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Follow all safety policies, SOPs, MOPs, and company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Must have quality experience in a manufacturing environment (no pharma/medical).
  • Hands-on experience with measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, tape measures, etc.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for an 8-hour shift.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with integrity and accuracy.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of aluminum cutting and milling operations.
