** Location
* * Baltimore, MD Reporting into the Production Supervisor, the part-time General Laborer will be based out of Baltimore, MD and will be responsible for supporting daily production operations within a unionized chemical manufacturing environment. This role will focus on assisting with performing general laborer tasks, material handling, equipment support, housekeeping, and basic production tasks to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality operation.

The General Laborer will follow established safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality guidelines while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
** Responsibilities
* ** Assist production operators with material handling, loading, and unloading raw materials and finished goods.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials properly.
* Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Handle and utilize proper packaging supplies for finished products.
* Perform routine quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness in production and storage areas.
* Return materials to designated storage locations and organize work areas efficiently.
* Support production staff with equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
* Perform other duties as assigned to maintain an efficient operation.
** Required Experience
*** High school diploma or GED required.
* Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
* Previous experience as a chemical operator, mechanic, or heavy equipment operator is a plus.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.
* Forklift experience or certification is preferred.
** Schedule
* ** This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule based on production needs. Hours may vary, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
* Part-time up to 25 hours per week
