Catcher​/Loader

• Loads sheets onto stacker on folding machine.
• Removes and inspects folded inserts/outserts from machine. Replaces defective product and maintains proper counts.
• Makes inner trays and outer boxes to pack finished products.
• Performs in process quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Follows GMPs and completes all related paperwork.
• Prepares shipping labels and applies to outer cartons. Places boxes on pallets.
• Assists technician in troubleshooting mechanical problems as needed.
• Uses computer to record status of orders and quality of work completed.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with housekeeping and safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned within the finishing department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Good mathematical aptitude.
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Good organizational skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments.
• Capable of reading a ruler.
• Handwriting must be legible (capable of being read or deciphered) on all company forms.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. intermittently. No lifting above the shoulders.
• Normal vision.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time.
• Able to push & pull up to 35 lbs.
