The Machinist & Maintenance Tech will operate automatic CNC spring machines to fabricate springs from steel wire and manually assemble more complex components. They will also work with the maintenance leader on upkeep and repairs of production and facility equipment, supporting both production and maintenance and flexing between each area as needed.

• Review blueprints to determine setup procedures, machine attachments required, and stock to use or obtain details from setup charts.
• Select and install machine attachments—taper cams, wire size blocks, coiling points, pitch tools, and cutting tools—according to a blueprint or setup chart.
• Use gauges, load testers, micrometers, and calipers to adjust the machine to attain specified tolerances.
• Understand blueprints and use precision measuring devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance and skilled repairs on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
• Comply with corporate policies and OSHA rules while performing maintenance functions.

• Read and interpret part specifications or blueprints.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.

• High School Diploma.
• 1–2 years of machine operation and setup experience or 1–2 years in facility or plant maintenance.

• May lift and carry up to 30 lbs; standing for up to 4 hours straight per day.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
• Requires pushing and pulling (hand trucks, dollies) throughout the day.

$25.00 – $32.00 per hour based on experience.
