Contract Hardware Inc. is seeking a hands‑on and experienced Wood Shop Manager to lead operations in our interior door fabrication shop. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing daily shop activities, training and supervising a team, and ensuring timely, high-quality production of hollow and solid core door units. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in wood fabrication with strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Lead daily operations of the interior door fabrication shop.
- Supervise, train, and mentor shop employees in fabrication techniques and safety procedures.
- Oversee the production of hollow and solid core doors to meet precise project specifications.
- Set up, operate, and maintain pneumatic tools and shop equipment to ensure production accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate inventory movement, materials flow, and space utilization within the shop.
- Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure on‑time delivery without reliance on overtime.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure fabrication aligns with project needs and timelines.
- Deep understanding of pneumatic tools, machinery, and precision fabrication practices.
- Prior management or supervisory experience in a wood shop or fabrication setting.
- Strong ability to train, motivate, and lead a team toward production goals.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and safety management skills.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
- Base Salary: $75,000 per year
