Annual Wage Range: $98,273.60 - $

Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer—embedded with operations at one of our 24/7 chemical manufacturing plants within the Curtis Bay site. The Maintenance and Reliability team is responsible for providing world‑class asset availability, enabling the plant to deliver products safely, within specifications, and on time. The position is on‑site in Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD and reports to the Senior Maintenance and Reliability Leader.

• Develop and manage equipment maintenance plans for area equipment.
• Update Preventative Maintenance Plan (PM) and Condition Monitoring Routes in SAP.
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) / Failure Mode Eliminations Analysis (FMEA).
• Assist with emergencies and unplanned breakdowns.
• Identify critical spares and recommended spare parts inventory levels.
• Identify and scope potential reliability improvement projects.
• Contribute to maintenance planning and execution for outages and participate in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Must be willing to wear PPE—including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel‑toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit and full‑face respirator.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
• Ability to work in a high‑hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures and noisy surroundings.

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years Maintenance/Engineering experience in a process manufacturing environment.
• 24/7 Manufacturing experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Food, Heavy Industry and/or Chemical manufacturing using pumps, grinders, rotary equipment or dryers.

• Experience using SAP Preventative Maintenance module.
• Experience with engineering codes and standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, etc.
• Experience interpreting condition monitoring findings from various tools such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, oil analysis and infrared thermography.
